Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with Business Intelligence Engineers to identify and help adopt best practices in reporting and analytics.
-Continuously help improve ongoing reporting and analytics processes by automating or simplifying customer self-service support.
-Forecasting model design for financial planning
-Interface with enterprise customers to collect requirements, with ETL extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Python or Java.
– Model data and metadata to support monthly, weekly and ad hoc requests.
– Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing reports, analytics, dashboards, etc. to deliver actual performance and influence key business decisions.
-Learn and understand a wide variety of Amazon data sources and know when, how, which to use and which not.
-Design, implement and support an analytical data infrastructure.
– Identify data issues and work with partner team to improve data quality.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field
-Relevant experience in data modelling, data mining, SQL/BI architecture on Oracle and Redshift database
-Experience in building multidimensional data models to serve as a foundation for tools and models
-Experience working with corporate clients to drive requirements analysis
-Experience with forecast modeling to plan assets
-Advanced SQL writing skills and solid experience with ETL
– Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage concurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurate results
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience with AWS technologies including Redshift, Aurora, S3, ERM, EML
– Familiar with Java, C++ and other object-oriented languages and web development such as JavaScript and MVC frameworks
-Experience with Python/R for data analysis
– Familiar with current popular data front-end tools or data visualization tools
– Ability to think and respond in an energetic, fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired and ambiguity is the norm
-Experience in guiding others in SQL, modelling, forecasting and using large datasets
– Willingness to learn and do more than Business Intelligence. Use your logic skills to analyze business needs and provide recommendations and scalable options to support our growing business
– International logistics background is preferred
