BELLINGHAM, Wash. According to emergency radio broadcasts, first responders converged on a retail business in the 1200 block of W Bakerview Road about 3:30pm on Monday, July 18th, after What-Comm 911 call receivers had received multiple reports of at least 1 shooting victim.
Further investigation by Bellingham Police at the scene found no shooting victims or indications of shots fired. But someone had thrown a rock or rocks through glass windows by an entrance and some people had been hit by broken glass.
The suspect or suspects were thought to have left the scene in a vehicle.
Bellingham Fire Department aid crews also responded. Initial reports were that there were no serious injuries.
