In service of Primes vision to be the most engaging, satisfying, and loved membership program, the Benefits, Expansion, Engagement and Member Experience (BEEMX) team is seeking a talented Sr. Business Analyst to support the ideation, development and launch of these exciting customer-facing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, thinking long-term, and have a passion for data, uncovering insights, and telling business stories to leaders and stakeholders through metrics and visualizations. You will be directly embedded in the business as a trusted partner informing strategy, tracking performance, and driving excellence. This role demands a high capacity to learn and be curious as we need to be constantly adapting to changes in our business and thinking about how we can bridge ambiguous business problems to actionable reporting and metrics. This also involves being up to speed with relevant tools and systems to help enable rapid iteration. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally and innovate alongside talented Business Intelligence Engineers, Financial Analysts, Product and Marketing Managers.
Key job responsibilities
Uncover trends and correlations to develop insights that can materially improve our business decisions.
Apply data mining, quantitative analysis, and statistical models to understand how our customers interact with us and identify the best way to improve the customer experience and meet our goals.
Own the design, development, maintenance, and forecasting of ongoing performance metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Math/Statistics/Engineering or other equivalent quantitative discipline
6+ years’ experience in Operations or Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, or equivalent role
Advanced mastery of SQL, along with proven proficiency in building reporting constructs that deliver meaningful insight and calls to action for a global business team
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusion relevant to the business problem.
Communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical problems through simple means.
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA)
8+ years of experience in a lead business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role
Demonstrated history of driving improvement performance to plan by identifying, measuring and managing key metrics related to Customer engagement and Program performance.
A history of teamwork and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done.
Experience driving results in cross-functional organizations
