TEHRANTEDPIX, the main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), gained 5,623 points and closed at 1.389 million points on Sunday.
As reported, more than 7.126 billion securities worth 39.138 trillion rials (about $135 million) were traded on the TSE.
The first market index increased by 8,200 points and the second market index increased by 1,324 points.
TEDPIX lost 15,000 points to 1,402,830 in the last Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday).
The index was up 131,000 points (10.21 percent) to 1.414 million points in the Iranian calendar week ending Nov. 11.
As reported, it was the highest weekly increase during the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21).
After a long period of downturn, stock market transactions finally re-entered the upward cycle of the past three weeks and influenced by the decisions of the government and the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO), and increased shareholder hopes to invest again in this market and get a reasonable return from it.
