TOKYO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO:6503) announced today that it has decided to file an application for the delisting of its common shares from the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the withdrawal of the admission to trading of its ordinary shares on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE), given the very limited number of company shares traded on the LSE, keeping the listing would not provide a significant benefit, and delisting would be a have a negligible effect on the company’s shareholders or other investors. An application will be submitted to the LSE in January 2023 and delisting is expected to be completed in early February 2023. Mitsubishi Electric will maintain its listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
