TORONTO — Some of the most active companies trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Wednesday:

TC Energy Corp. (TSX:TRP). Energy. An increase of $1.24, or 2.36 percent, to $53.86 on 15.2 million shares.

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (TSX:CM). Finance. An increase of 69 cents, or 1.23 percent, to $56.68 on 7.2 million shares.

Crescent Point Energy Corp. (TSX:CPG). Energy. An increase of 36 cents, or four percent, to $9.37 on 7.1 million shares.

Cabin 8 Mining Corp. (TSX:HUT). Finance. An increase of 19 cents, or 8.68 percent, to $2.38 on 6.1 million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Materials. An increase of 13 cents, or 2.08 percent, to $6.39 on 5.7 million shares.

Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX:LUN). Materials. An increase of 38 cents, or 4.55 percent, to $8.73 on 5.6 million shares.

Companies in the news:

Dollarama Inc. (TSX: DOL). An increase of $1.97 or 2.51 percent to $80.47. Discount chain Dollarama Inc. registered a sales increase in the last quarter as low prices for everyday household items attracted buyers seeking relief from high inflation. The Montreal-based company’s same-store sales — a key measure for comparing sales at same locations and excluding new stores — grew 15.9 percent in the fourth quarter compared to the same period last year. The result came as Canada experienced its highest inflation rate in decades, leading many consumers to change their shopping habits in search of deals and lower prices. Overall, dollar store revenue for the quarter was $1.47 billion, up from $1.22 billion in the same quarter last year.
