WORK OVERVIEW:
The primary objective of the Furniture Project Coordinator is to support the furniture design team and account managers and the interests of both Creative Business Interiors and our clients by managing all details related to the sale of business furniture and accessories. The Furniture Project Coordinator works as a key team member to maintain customer relationships and work closely with the Account Manager, Furniture Designer and suppliers to meet the project budget, cultural image and functional goals of the organization. They coordinate the ordering, time management, logistics management, financial management, delivery and installation of project equipment.

ESSENTIAL FEATURES:
- Assist the furniture designer in physically inventorying the client’s existing product.
- Assisting the Account Executive with all necessary information in preparing the proposal and/or presentation.
- Monitor and maintain project costs in Khameleon Business System.
- Review the installation specifications and schedule.
- View all confirmations from manufacturers for order entry.
- Track orders and coordinate receipt of all products.
- Prepare work orders. Work closely with the Field Service Coordinator to verify site conditions and installation details.
- Supervise the installation of all products.
- Participate as a team player in all projects, such as customer interaction, work meetings and project follow-up.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Plan reading skills.
- Ability to see space in 3D and be a three-dimensional thinker.
- Must be able to handle projects independently and as part of a team.
- Creative problem solver.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Associates degree (or equivalent work experience) in project management, business, communications or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in project management, logistics or finance is a plus.
