We founded the Lewis and White Business League as a forum and program designed to improve economic opportunities for African Americans in Jacksonville.
The Lewis and White Business League includes industry connections and educational advancements, quarterly meetings with guest speakers, and networking and mentoring opportunities. The initiative is named in honor of AL Lewis and Dr. Eartha White, two influential African American business leaders in Jacksonville and both charter members of the National Negro Business League. The League was founded in 1900 by Booker T. Washington to improve the economic conditions of African Americans.
