Belgrade stock market indices rise, Dunav leads blue-chip gainers

April 26 (SeeNews) – The Belgrade stock exchange’s blue-chip BELEX15 index closed 0.89% higher at 903.82 on Wednesday, buoyed by gains in insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] and Nikola Tesla Airport [BEL:AERO]showed stock market data.

Dunav gained 3.27% to 1,074 dinars, according to Belgrade Stock Exchange data. In total, 820 of his shares changed hands with a turnover of 880,283 dinars.

Aerodrom Nikola Tesla was another big winner, with the price rising 2.26% to 1,944 dinars.

Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the largest turnover on the exchange of 23.8 million dinars. NIS closed 0.25% higher at 800 dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market-cap-weighted index, also gained ground, closing 0.32% to 1,798.06.

The exchange’s total trading turnover was 85.1 million dinars ($801,500/725,700 euros), up from 9.7 million dinars on Tuesday when 108 trades were executed. The trade in government bonds contributed 57.9 million to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
