Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB). Energy. An increase of 41 cents, or 0.78 percent, to $52.95 on 16.5 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Energy. Down 80 cents, or 2.01 percent, to $38.97 on 13.5 million shares.

Manilife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Finance. Eight cents, or 0.30 percent, fell to $26.60 on 11.5 million shares.

Cenovus Energy Inc. (TSX:CVE). Energy. Down 43 cents, or 2.04 percent, to $20.64 on 8.6 million shares.

Toronto Dominion Bank. (TSX:TD). Finance. An increase of 39 cents, or 0.48 percent, to $81.47 on 7.9 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Mining. Down four cents, or 0.73 percent, to $5.48 on 7.5 million shares.

BCE Inc. (TSX:BCE). Telecom. Up two cents, or 0.03 percent, to $65.38; and AirCanada. (TSX:AC). Transport. Six cents, or 0.32 percent, fell to $18.79. Experts say a new partnership between Bell and Air Canada offering Aeroplan members free Wi-Fi messaging on flights will help bolster the rewards program’s brand after it was largely grounded during the pandemic. The telecommunications giant will sponsor Wi-Fi services onboard the airline’s fleet, including Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express aircraft, starting May 15. All Aeroplan members traveling worldwide on Wi-Fi-enabled planes can send and receive messages on apps such as Apple’s iMessage, Meta’s WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, Rakuten’s Viber and Google’s Messages over Wi-Fi.

Loblaw Companies Ltd. (TSX:L). Retail. Down $4.03, or 3.13 percent, to $124.63. Canada’s largest grocer said its product costs rose nearly $1 billion so far this year, double the historic norm, as it continues to see “excessive” price increases from major multinational food brands. Loblaw Companies Ltd. reported a profit of $418 million in the first quarter, down from $437 million last year when the company saw a one-time gain from a court ruling. Revenue for the 12-week period totaled nearly $13 billion, compared to nearly $12.3 billion a year earlier.
