Clatsop County is a partner in Clatsop Economic Development Resources (CEDR), an organization that provides a variety of services and assistance to support economic development throughout the county.

CEDAR, in partnership with the Clatsop Community College Small Business Development Center, offers business strategy, marketing, operations and planning consulting, as well as recruiting, training and management support. CEDR is also a resource for information on new and existing business resources, regulations, taxes, and other data.

TheSmall Business Development Center (SBDC)is funded by Clatsop Community College and by large grants from the State of Oregon and Small Business Administration. The center offers free or low-cost counseling, seminars, customized training, research materials, and a host of other services, including:

• Small Business Management Program in-depth assistance for existing businesses;
• Small Business Development Center (SBDC) business startup and resources for new and existing businesses;
• Personnel development training and professional development of employees;
• Assistance from the Capital Resource Center for capital and loans.

TheColumbia-Pacific Economic Development District (Col-Pac)is a private non-profit organization created to help diversify and strengthen the economy and livability of Northwestern Oregon. The district covers all of Clatsop, Columbia, and Tillamook counties and the western part of Washington County.

TheNorthwest Oregon Economic Allianceis a partnership between Clatsop, Columbia, and Tillamook counties that manages the regional and rural investment lottery funds allocated to the three-county region. Applications for projects that create or maintain jobs in Clatsop, Columbia or Tillamook counties can be submitted at any time.
