Administration Business Office

The district office is responsible for the financial management of the district. These include:

• Administration of creditors and debtors;
• administration of human resources, payroll and employee benefits;
• Drawing up and managing school budgets;
• Required state and federal financial accountability and reporting;
• Oversight and administration of the district food service program;
• supervising the maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds;
• Supervision of the SACC (School-Age Child Care) program.

In addition, the district has also contracted to provide the same business services to several other local school districts. Currently the Alloway Twp. School District is in shared service agreements with Elsinboro and Lower Alloways Creek School Districts.

Our school district’s business administrator is Melanie Allen. Ms. Allen also serves as board secretary and liaison to the Board of Education. All questions regarding school board elections and other Board of Education matters can be directed through the business office. The business office is located at Alloway School and is open every day from 7:30am to 3:30pm. The office can be reached by calling (856) 935-1627.
