DESCRIPTION

Amazon Returns is looking for a motivated individual with strong analytics, technology and supply chain skills and experience to join a high-visibility strategic team directly impacting Amazon’s customer experience globally. In this role, you’ll help us discover and solve real-world problems and build metrics using existing and pre-existing data for a growing business. The successful candidate is highly analytical, has an extremely high level of customer focus and a passion for process improvement.

Responsibilities include:
– Develop and drive critical metrics to monitor and optimize the business.
– Collaborate with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
– Design and implement reporting solutions to empower stakeholders to lead the business and make effective decisions.
– Support cross-functional teams in the day-to-day execution of the existing program implementation.
– Managing small to medium sized operational improvement projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or another technical field from an accredited university
– 5+ years of relevant professional experience in performing quantitative and qualitative analyses
– Familiarity with Supply Chain Management concepts, e.g. forecasting, planning, optimization and logistics
– Experience and knowledge of Excel and SQL is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– MBA and work experience in a technical direction is highly desirable
– Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks at the same time
– Working knowledge of LEAN and SIX SIGMA methodologies and familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence tools is a plus
– Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, Perl, Unix/Linux, Visual Basic, Python or other programming languages ​​is a plus
– Excellent written and oral communication skills complemented by the ability to solve problems

Our compensation reflects labor costs in different geographic markets in the US. The base salary for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Salary is based on a number of factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
