Amazon.com is looking for a bright, enthusiastic, hard-working and creative candidate to join the Selling Partner Experience – Operations team as a Business Operations Specialist. This feature offers an exciting introduction to the Amazon Marketplace and provides a training ground for success. You are primarily responsible for driving higher data quality and solving challenging operational business objectives. You use data and develop creative processes to improve the performance of your team. You will work directly with product management and technical teams to develop scalable long-term solutions that will have a significant impact on teams associated with Selling Partner Experience. Our environment is fast paced and requires someone who is a self starter, detail oriented, analytical and comfortable working with multiple teams, partners and management. The candidate must have a track record of delivering results, experience handling large amounts of data, and generating and managing reports. The candidate must use data to boost their communication with stakeholders. The candidate must be able to solve process problems with limited guidance.

Key Job Responsibilities
Complete a variety of recurring tasks to support the metadata change management process and quality testing for listing tools and services, while meeting predefined SLAs
Work internally with individuals within Amazon to obtain necessary approvals, create and fulfill business requests
Apply business judgment to determine the severity and resolution path for independently identified problems
Proactively escalate areas for process improvement and automation
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, establishing standard operating procedures
Provide data-driven analytics and support to business partners in quantifying and solving problems
Constantly evaluate tools and processes and provide solutions to ensure they are efficient, high quality and scalable.

The team directly owns a variety of daily/weekly/monthly repeatable tasks that are expected to be completed according to specified SLAs. At the same time, the team brings significant business operations experience and several opportunities to learn different skills, helping to deliver process improvement and automation initiatives that have delivered measurable productivity gains

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree
– Speak, write and read English fluently
– Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
– Experience with Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Proficiency in VBA macros and SQL. Professional experience in e-commerce or IT ES industries Experience with secondary research Experience working with large data sets
