Modis is currently looking for a fluent Dutch & English speaking Business Chain Analyst (100% FTE) from one of our international clients. As a Business Chain Analyst you act as a quality gatekeeper for CMDB functionalities in ServiceNow.

Job requirements

Main responsibilities:

  • Tracks CMDB configuration (CI classes, relationship types, write protection groups, access rights/roles, etc.) based on customer best practice;
  • Initiates update requests for entities such as: IT Products, IT Business Services, Provider Services etc. Handles and approves update requests initiated by the customer, through Self-Service process
  • Tracks lifecycle, statuses and business rules per entity (Assets, CI, IT Product, IT Business Service etc), based on customer best practice;
  • Clear communication and handling and approving changes in configuration management and service management, based on customer best practice;
  • Attend Hand Over To Business as usual meetings and ensure all requirements are met;
  • Review/approve technical solution and infrastructure design documentation;
  • Assess and advise on infrastructure-related changes;
  • Attends bank meetings with clients’ Infra teams;
  • Consultation with the client, based on the outcome of all of the above.

Education Qualifications:

  • Dutch passport;
  • Good understanding of interconnection of application components versus infrastructure components and how availability matrices work;
  • ITIL V3 / ServiceNow & ITSM fundamentals.
