The anticipation of Confluent’s IPO echoes last September blockbuster stock debut for Snowflake, giving the data cloud services company a higher market cap than Dell and VMware.
Confluent has submitted its application S-1 documentation with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on June 1, disclosing much information about the company, including its financial performance and ownership, for the first time. On June 16, the company filed a modified S-1 (S-1/A) with additional information, including the number of shares it planned to offer, in which price range and on which exchange.
