To remember The Anheuser-Busch Promise To give Americans free beer if the White House reaches its target of 70% of American adults on July 4? The beer maker keeps his word, even if the country just fell short of that goal.
From Friday through Monday at 11:59 PM ET, adults 21 and older can join MyCooler.com/beer and upload a photo of themselves at their favorite place to have a beer (like a local bar or restaurant, backyard, or baseball stadium). They receive an email with a digital gift card worth $5, the average retail price of an Anheuser-Busch product. They can use the card to claim a free beer through Monday.
Also as part of the celebration of the progress the US has made on vaccinations, Budweiser released a new “Go Fourth, America” video starring actor Bill Pullman, who reprises his role as president in the movie Independence Day. interpreted again. Pullman, in a comedic speech, urges Americans to celebrate their independence, not from alien invaders… (but) from separation as they’re locked up, baking bread and ignoring basic hygiene.

In the two-minute digital film titled Go Fourth, America, Pullman argues that independence has new meaning for all of us today and whether you drive a pickup truck or a hybrid, live inland or on the coast, or that you pronounce it ‘America’. ‘ or ‘Murica.’ We are all Americans, rarely on the same page, but reading from the same book, on vacation anyway.
Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said: about 65% of US adults have received at least one COVID-19 shot, and 56% are fully vaccinated. The White House expects 70% of all American adults to receive at least one shot within weeks.
Anheuser-Busch’s free beer promotion comes as many companies and health departments continue to urge Americans to get vaccinated. Panera Bread is giving away free bagels to vaccinated customers July 2-4. Both CVS health and Kroger have vaccine sweepstakes running through July 10.
While the US failed to meet the 70% target, Anheuser-Busch wanted to recognize nations’ progress around the Independence Day holiday, the company said.

Doukeris, CEO of Anheuser-Busch in a statement. Doukeris will assume the role of global CEO of Anheuser-Busch InBev effective July 1.
Budweiser is also giving away $10,000 to help some throw even better 4th of July parties.
