Which are records over the past three years. Only 778 taxis were registered in 2020, 249 in 2021, 1097 in 2022. The members of the office of the Cab Association believe that the days of recovery from the adverse effects of Corona on transport facilities have begun.

Noida Cab Association Chairman Yogesh Verma said in a special chat with NEWS7NOIDA that the taxi business has started to recover from the effect of Corona. Last year, a taxi earned only Rs 1500 to 1700 per day, while the earning jumped from zero to Rs 500 just after the first corona wave. Now the situation is such that a taxi earns up to Rs 3,000 per day. For this reason, its operators have no problem paying EMI, the tax driver’s salary. Apart from this, Subdivisional Transport Officer Siyaram Verma said there has been a significant increase in the registration of commercial vehicles.
