A doctor from the Indian Medical Association (IMA) said: “In the past two weeks there has been a drop in the number of cases and at the same time the number of victims has also decreased. This is mainly due to the lockdown and restrictions imposed by the state government to prevent the spread of the infection. The state government will also step up vaccination campaigns this weekend by carrying out mass vaccination campaigns at the Birsa Munda football stadium in Morabadi.

The state government has set a goal of vaccinating more than 11,000 people per day, more than 5,000 of its current target.
