To avoid sending funds to an incorrect address, we suggest that you ask the recipient for their unique QR code.
To send cryptos from your Wallet
Open the Coinbase Wallet app on your mobile device Tap Send Enter the amount you want to send Select the coin you want to use Tap Next Tap the QR code or enter the exact recipient address
Note: Coinbase does not process wallet transactions via email. You can send supported cryptos and tokens using a cryptocurrency address, Coinbase Wallet username, or ENS (Ethereum Name Service for ETH / ERC-20).
If you send an ERC-20 token (e.g. USDC, DAI, BAT, MKR, etc.)
You will need ETH in your Coinbase Wallet account in order to pay miners fees when sending this cryptocurrency. This is because ERC-20 tokens are issued on the Ethereum blockchain and transactions on the Ethereum network, such as sending ERC-20 tokens, require Ether.
