What is Pay Rewards?

When you use various functions under the Pay function in our Crypto.com application, you have the right to receive a refund in CRO.

These CRO cashbacks are marked as Pay Rewards.

How can I get paid rewards?

By purchasing gift cards or mobile airtime through the Crypto.com app using CRO as a payment method

What is the minimum transfer amount?

There is no minimum transfer amount. However, please note that Pay Rewards (measured in CRO) will only be granted if its fiat equivalent is greater than $ 0.01.

How do you get my contact list on the Crypto.com app?

To use Pay Your Friends, you need to manually add country codes to your friends’ phone numbers.

What happens when I send a payment to a contact who is not a user of the Crypto.com app?

You will have a pending payment to your contact, and payment is not made until he or she successfully registers a Crypto.com account within seven days.

Crypto.com will send an SMS to your contact to inform them of this payment. If the conditions are met, you can also receive a referral bonus.

Do pending payments expire?

Yes, pending payments must be accepted within seven days. Expired payments will be returned to the sender. An SMS will be sent to the intended recipient each time a payment has expired.

What is mobile airtime?

Mobile Airtime is a new feature that allows you to top up a prepaid phone number anywhere in the world with Pay.

Supported crypto that can be used to top up: CRO, BTC, ETH, XRP, and LTC.

How to access mobile airtime?

Which countries and / or operators are supported?

We support many mobile operators around the world. We can automatically detect if the number is supported – just type in your or your friends’ number and let you know if it is supported.

Note: Always check if the operator associated with your number is correct before confirming the purchase. You may need to manually choose the correct operator from the top right corner of the app.

Can I buy mobile airtime for my friends and family?

Yes you can. Just type in their number and let you know if the number can be reloaded. Additional information provided to you after the purchase is complete may be passed to them.

I was told that a PIN code may be required – where can I find it?

Some operators require a PIN code to activate airtime recharging. We will let you know if this is necessary.

The PIN code can be found in the transaction details by selecting How to use ?. We will also email you a copy of the purchase, the PIN code, and instructions for redeeming it.

Will this PIN code expire?

Some PIN codes will have a validity date clearly stated in your purchase details. Please follow the instructions provided to redeem before the PIN expires.

Are there any limits for mobile airtime purchases?

What happens when the currency is paid in non-USD?

The purchase will use the exchange rate provided by the seller, which may be significantly different from the market rate. Please check and confirm only if you agree to the price provided.

Does it work with postpaid numbers?

In most cases, this is not the case. You can verify this by entering the phone number and continue by selecting a purchase option. After completing the password verification step, we will tell you whether the purchase was successful or not. If this fails, we will not charge your crypto.

What if I top up the wrong phone number?

If the purchase was successful, the phone number will be recharged accordingly. We cannot refund an order when it has been delivered successfully. Please check the phone number and details during the purchase process to prevent this from happening.
