The crypto hype has seen an increase in all regions of the world over the past two years. While some countries have embraced this new technology with open arms, others have strongly opposed the idea, even going so far as to create policies against crypto trading. India is one of those countries. But despite the Indian government’s reluctance to embrace cryptocurrency into its economy, its citizens are going above and beyond to immerse themselves in the crypto market and come up with innovative technologies.

The prodigy, in this case, happens to be 13-year-old Gajesh Naik, who is in grade 8 at Panaji People’s High School. For many people, the pandemic has been a life-changing experience. But while this was unfavorable for most, Gajesh managed to make lemonade from lemons. He took advantage of the closure of schools during the pandemic last year to build skills.

His YouTube channel currently has over 12,000 subscribers. While his Twitter account has accumulated more than 22,000 subscribers. An avenue that Gajesh uses to talk about topics related to crypto and blockchain.

Start early

The child prodigy started learning coding at just eight years old and has since mastered an impressive number of languages. At only eight years old, Gajesh was already learning Java, Javascript, C ++ and Solidity. However, his interest in blockchain was piqued in 2018 when he attended an international blockchain congress.
