Law360, London (Aug 9, 2021, 1:36 p.m. BST) – Lloyd’s of London said it has chosen nearly a dozen tech companies for its incubator project, to develop insurance products related to cryptocurrencies, cyber attacks and the modeling of complaints.
The specialist insurance market said on Friday it had selected 11 companies out of 179 applicants for the next cycle of its Lloyd’s Lab program, which acts as an incubator for small and medium-sized insurtech companies.
The next group will be the seventh cohort to go through the program, which was launched in 2018 as part of a 330-year-old market modernization drive.
