In cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin prices were now slightly lower as other digital coins traded with gains. According to CoinDesk, the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market cap fell 0.3% to $ 45,848. It was trading above $ 46,000 over the past two sessions, hitting an 11-month high.

Ether, the coin linked to the ethereum blockchain, rose 1.5% to $ 3,170 while dogecoin rose nearly 3% to $ 0.26. Other digital coins like XRP, Stellar, Uniswap, Litecoin, Cardano were also trading higher in the range of around 3-16% in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, US cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global Inc beat market estimates for second quarter profit on Tuesday, boosted by an almost 38% increase in trading volumes on a sequential basis, but forecast a lower volumes for the current quarter.

Coinbase, which has benefited from the growing adoption of digital assets, said the reported quarter illustrated volatility in the still nascent industry which faces calls for more regulation, Reuters reported.

Additionally, Bitcoin investment products and funds recorded exits for the fifth week in a row, as investor sentiment remained cautious amid heightened global regulatory scrutiny, asset manager data showed on Monday. digital CoinShares, as reported by Reuters.

The world’s most popular cryptocurrency releases totaled $ 33 million in the week ended August 6, up from $ 19.7 million the week before. But so far this year, bitcoin inflows have remained strong at $ 4.2 billion.

The total crypto exits stood at nearly $ 26 million, although CoinShares noted that the scale of the exits was much smaller than in May and June.
