Cardano jumps as Messi news sparks Chiliz up

The Proof-of-Stake Cardano blockchain platform has jumped 10% in value over the past 24 hours, the most among the crypto majors.

At the time of writing (7am UK) his ADA token is worth $ 1.95, almost 50 cents more than his Tuesday morning position.

Cardano sees itself as an updated version of Ethereum and allows developers to build decentralized applications (dApps). It has gained 42% in value over the past seven days.

Thanks to the sensational transfer of football superstar Lionel Messi from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, Chiliz (CHZ) was the most successful piece among the Top 100.

The blockchain company operates the Socios sports token platform on which PSG fan tokens are issued. After the announcement yesterday that the Argentine’s huge two-year contract will include a PSG token payout, CHZ climbed 18% to 37c. It was already up and stands 41% higher than a week ago.

As for the Paris Saint-Germain Fan Token, it fell from $ 32 to $ 47 by news of the transfer before falling back to $ 43. PSG is # 310 in the market capitalization price chart.

Ripple’s XRP coin hit an exact valuation of $ 1 at 7 a.m. thanks to a 1.5% increase after two days of substantial gains.

The cryptocurrency market is now collectively worth $ 1.9 trillion, with the 11,200 coins gaining about 1.4% in value in the past 24 hours.
