The biggest 12-month winners in the crypto economy have eclipsed Bitcoin and Ethereum by far – Bitcoin Planet markets and prices

[ad_1]

2021 has been an incredible year for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many of the world’s most popular digital assets. While Bitcoin has gained around 300% over the past 12 months and Ethereum has risen 630%, a large chunk of crypto assets have made much larger gains.

12-month statistics show a large number of relatively unknown tokens topped the top ten crypto assets by market cap

After the March 12, 2020 stock market crash that wreaked havoc on almost every commodity in the world, otherwise known as ‘Black Thursday’, the value of the crypto economy has exploded. Three months ago, most crypto assets hit new all-time highs, but many of those coins have since fallen 30-55% in value. The lion’s share of crypto supporters focus on crypto-assets like bitcoin, ethereum, or assets that are in the top 20 crypto-assets by market valuation.

The Game Stars Network is an “esports blockchain platform that helps monetize the career advancement of cyberathletes,” according to the project description. The project’s native GST token has gained 41.882% in 12 months to date.

However, even though BTC and ETH have seen 12-month gains of between 300% and 630%, many other coins have greatly outperformed these assets over the past year. The biggest winner over the past 12 months is a coin called Game Stars (GST) which is trading at $ 0.40 per unit. The tokens of the stars of the game have increased in value by 41,882% in the past 12 months. Another crypto asset that has done almost as well as the GST is the coin mir (MIR), which is trading for $ 3.73 per coin and has gained 41,462% in one year.

Mir coin (MIR) is a payment platform that wants to expand global adoption and the project has created a concept called MIR Land. So far over the past 12 months, the MIR has climbed 41,462% and is trading today at $ 3.73 per unit.

GST and MIR are followed by two other relatively unknown crypto assets including content value network tokens (CVNT) and stox (STOX). CVNT is up 20.101% in 12 months while STOX is up 13.957%. The next crypto asset on the list with massive 12-month gains is dogecoin (DOGE), which is one of the ten most valuable crypto markets in terms of market capitalization. DOGE has risen in value by 7,730% over the past 12 months as every memes-based token trades for $ 0.283 today.

Biggest Top Ten Winners: Dogecoin, Binance Coin, Cardano

As for the top ten, binance coin (BNB) and cardano (ADA) were the leaders after dogecoin gained 7730%. BNB rose 1,649% while ADA’s gains were slightly less than 1,450% during the year. 12-month statistics show Ethereum’s 630% would make Ether the fourth biggest 12-month winner out of the top ten positions today. Of course, it wouldn’t be fair to forget the biggest losers of last year and the Token Hyperion (HYN) was the worst performer out of the 10,000+ cryptoassets.

Monero classic (XMC) is essentially a privacy-focused fork of monero (XMR). The forked monero coin has lost 92.32% of its value in the past 12 months.

HYN has lost 99.5% of its value and is followed by the Shipchain token (SHIP) which has lost 99.21% over the year. Tendies (TEND) has lost 94.34%, hycon (HYC) has shaved 93.02% and monero classic (XMC) has lost around 92.32% in the past 12 months. At the time of writing, the entire crypto economy is worth $ 1.96 trillion and in the top ten positions in the crypto market on Saturday August 13, XRP is the biggest 24-hour winner, with an 11% jump in value.
