According to KSDK News, Stewart has started fundraising to give cities around 1,500 a crash course in cryptocurrency by giving them $ 1,000 in BTC each.

Stewart believes holding digital currency could dramatically transform the city in the years to come. I have friends whose lives have changed completely, like going from a regular job nine to five worth over $ 80 million in just a few years, the mayor says. He adds that most of the capital to fund the project will be donated by several anonymous Bitcoin investors.
