Bitcoin of America Brings Cryptocurrency Into Local Businesses

Bitcoin of America is making cryptocurrency a daily standard.

The virtual currency exchange, registered as a money services business with the United States Department of the Treasury, offers several different services, including online trading, Bitcoin tablets, and Bitcoin ATMs.

Bitcoin of America makes it easier for businesses to integrate cryptocurrency into their services. We have a new point of sale system where businesses can start accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment for their store, said Jenna Polinsky, Marketing Director of Bitcoin of Americas. The company’s new universal kiosk combines the capabilities of a traditional ATM with a Bitcoin ATM. These kiosks offer three functions, starting with the traditional ATM function where customers can withdraw money from a debit card. The second function allows people to buy bitcoins and litecoins in cash. The third option is that customers can sell crypto in exchange for money.

It’s a sought-after feature in Las Vegas. Casinos cannot accept cryptocurrency for gambling, but players want to convert it to cash for this purpose.

There are a lot of tourists and gamers in Las Vegas who constantly use ATMs to dispense cash, Polinsky said. We try to make it easier for them by placing ATMs nearby.

The company said there is still a learning curve when it comes to cryptocurrency and people are often intimidated by it. They help overcome this with tutorials. Watch the ATM process here.

It’s a convenient all-in-one kiosk experience for the business owner and the customer, Polinsky says. And if you own a convenience store or gas station, you can host a Bitcoin ATM and earn extra income.

These universal kiosks provide stores with additional sources of income without taking up additional space. Bitcoin of America made it possible to have only one machine with all the same capabilities.

Bitcoin of America takes care of the marketing of each location, both physical and online, with a monthly advertising budget. They provide assistance to customers who use their hospitality locations. Additionally, Bitcoin of America is responsible for the maintenance and installation services of the hardware required to operate the ATM.

We would eventually like to put an ATM at every gas station in every neighborhood in the United States, Polinsky says. The more we integrate crypto into our local businesses, the more likely we are that it will become a daily routine.

Bitcoin of America has also launched its Bitcoin Teller program where customers can buy Bitcoin and Litecoin in cash. These kiosks provide a face-to-face shopping experience, which is considered a great option for first-time buyers. Unlike an ATM, these ATM locations allow a customer to interact with the merchant, rather than a machine.

You have a face-to-face shopping experience, which means you can come in and ask questions, Polinsky said. Often times when a customer visits an ATM they are confused as to what they are doing, but our ATMs take care of it with a real person behind the ATM.

Bitcoin of America has a growing number of ATM locations, which are like having an ATM in the palm of your hand. It is a smartphone or tablet using the company’s application.

We currently have about 29 ATMs across the country, Polinsky said. This is a newer program that we are working to expand and are looking to bring to Las Vegas. The closest is now in Kingman, Arizona.

It costs businesses nothing to host a kiosk, while giving them a chance to earn extra income, increase foot traffic, and take advantage of advertising opportunities.
