The UCA survey, meanwhile, found that nine in 10 respondents did not have a clear understanding of bitcoin, with seven in 10 agreeing to the National Assembly repealing the BTC law.
These sentiments were shared by the Central American Institute for Fiscal Studies (ICEFI), whose Salvadoran leader said parliament should do an about-face before it is too late.
