Total value stuck on Defi approaches $ 200 billion, non-Ethereum projects are gathering steam

At the time of writing, the Total Locked-In Value (TVL) in decentralized finance (challenge) is around $ 176 billion in various blockchains like Ethereum, Binance, Terra, Polygon, Solana, and Avalanche. As Ethereum commands $ 130 billion of the locked-down global total, a myriad of other challenge-fueled blockchains continue to see TVLs rise steadily.

The Total Locked-In Value (TVL) in challenge today reached $ 176.9 billion with a change of 1.07% over the past 24 hours, according to statistics from defillama.com. TVL has steadily moved closer to the $ 200 billion zone and today Uniswap dominates 3% among the variety of challenge apps. The Aave challenge app orders $ 16.04 billion and Curve is grabbing $ 13.92 billion today, as most TVLs are locked in an application reinforced by the Ethereum chain.

A number of other channels, however, have contributed billions to the global TVL challenge. While Ethereum (ETH) has around $ 130.07 billion on Sunday, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) has around 19.05 billion TVL. Next come Terra ($ 7.84 billion), Polygon ($ 5.34 billion), Solana ($ 4.3 billion), Avalanche ($ 2.36 billion) and Klaytn ($ 1.29 billion) ). For the Ethereum chain alone, among 16 different dex platforms, dex statistics from Dune Analytics show that there has been $ 19 billion in global trading in the past seven days. $ 2.24 billion in 24 hours and Uniswap controls 69.2% of all dex volume on 16 dex platforms.

Seven-day statistics show Uniswap traded around $ 12,952,621,793 in global exchanges. 88% of the volume comes directly from dex applications, but the rest of the volume (11.7%) is routed through dex aggregators like 1inch, 0x API, Matcha, and Paraswap. The number of challenge users or unique addresses in Ethereum-based challenge apps is 3.3 million. The biggest lending apps today include platforms like Aave, Compound, Anchor, Venus and Cream Finance respectively.

When it comes to the yield-based TVL rankings on defillama.com, Convex Finance takes the top spot on Sunday. Next come Yearn Finance, Alpaca Finance, Tranches and Autofarm. The biggest challenge asset in terms of TVL is Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) with $ 10.05 billion locked in. The second active challenge is the hbtc (HBTC) with $ 1.74 billion and the mirror (MIR) with $ 1.01 billion.
