Everything about Apple

In a live broadcast hosted by CEO Tim Cook on Tuesday, Apple showcased a suite of new products, including new iPhones and Apple Watches.

Reception from analysts and technical observers has been lukewarm, as upgrades have mostly focused on chip speed, camera accessories and screen size, TheStreet’s Martin Baccardax reported.

In an interview with TheStreet Live ahead of Tuesday’s reveal, Cramer warned that, like the rest of the market, Apple stocks are facing a tough September and investors should proceed with caution.

There will be redemptions

Microsoft increased its quarterly dividend rate by 11%, to 62 cents from 56 cents, payable to shareholders of record on November 18. The company announced a $ 60 billion share buyback with no expiration date, which can be terminated at any time, Reuters reported.

Microsoft also named Brad Smith, its chief legal counsel, as vice president, making him the second-highest ranked employee behind chief executive officer Satya Nadella.

Macau Royale

Macau casino stocks came to the fore when Beijing launched a regulatory overhaul that could see its officials overseeing the companies at the world’s largest gambling hub.

Macau, a special administrative region in China, told casino operators that current gambling licensing rules could be revised to include “government oversight” of their day-to-day operations.

Names like Wynn Macau, China Sands, Galaxy Entertainment and Melco Entertainment have lost a collective value of $ 14 billion.

Macau is the world’s largest gaming hub.

Crypto versus gold: Sophie’s choice?

The debate between gold and cryptocurrency continues as SEC Chairman Gary Gensler and the Senate turn their attention to cryptocurrency regulation.

In a recent column on Real Money, Jim Cramer had a very simple message: you can believe in both, but approach the two assets differently.

“Far too often in this market, I see people attacking those they think are tasteless. To me, that’s the reasoning of the bush league. I think you can own both gold and crypto as a hedge, but you have to be realistic: the value of gold is its timelessness It’s its opportunity and, I’m afraid, not much more, “Cramer wrote.
