Crypto job openings are multiplying day by day as companies enter the rapidly growing industry, according to Bloomberg. A crypto-focused job site has seen its paid ad category explode by nearly 1,500% in the past year. Crypto job openings are growing day by day as companies old and new look to enter the rapidly growing industry, according to a new report from Bloomberg.

A crypto-focused job board, CryptocurrencyJobs.co, has seen its paid ad category explode by nearly 1,500% in the past year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Non-crypto cards experience the same type of parabolic growth. Paid posts in the United States on LinkedIn jumped 600% year-on-year in August and 400% from 2019. Likewise, searches for crypto jobs on Indeed.com have doubled in the past year.

“Everyone is hiring for all positions right now,” CryptocurrencyJobs.co founder Daniel Adler told Bloomberg. “It’s the strongest I’ve seen since the launch of Cryptocurrency Jobs in 2017.”

Companies that advertised on Adler’s site include crypto-natives like Coinbase as well as older players like Accenture and JPMorgan Chase. Many of these job opportunities are in the area of ​​decentralized finance, he added.

The huge growth in job opportunities has occurred in a year where the total crypto market cap topped $ 2 trillion, led by bitcoin, which grew from around $ 10,000 to over $ 60,000. Etheruem has also reached new heights, flanked by entry-level competitors like solana and cardano.

The year also brought rigorous regulatory oversight, including most recently a total ban on trading in China and a CFTC fine of over $ 1 million for the Kraken crypto exchange.
