The price of Bitcoin finally saw a slight increase of 2.38% on Thursday, September 30. Currently, the world’s most valuable cryptocurrency is trading at Rs. 34 28 765 (around $ 46,116). This marginal increase in Bitcoin value comes two days after witnessing declines with other cryptocurrencies. The fluctuations in the crypto market were triggered by China’s blanket cryptocurrency ban last week on September 24. All major cryptocurrencies have experienced declines in value as a result of recent market instability.
Ether too, after the opening of Bitcoin with a gain of 3.8%. The second most valuable cryptocurrency in the world trades at Rs. 2,38,307 (around $ 3,205). This rise in the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain comes a day after its value fell 1.39%.
Other cryptocurrencies that have seen marginal growth include Ripple, Polkadot, and Dogecoin.
In the last 24 hours, we have seen a massive recovery in the cryptocurrency market. Altcoins looked set for a bullish reversal and that’s exactly what happened. Most of the top 30 coins ended in green, with Binance Coin being the top performer, Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of crypto-investment platform Mudrex told Gadgets 360.
According to CoinMarketCap.com, Binance Coin rose significantly by 11.89%. It was trading at $ 382.76 (around Rs 238,307).
Among the cryptocurrencies that saw declines in value, Cardano, USD Coin and Uniswap had minor losses, according to crypto-price tracker Gadgets 360.
Earlier this week, industry experts expressed hope that the crypto market would recover despite China’s criminalization of the crypto trade.
Other crypto-supporting regions like the city of Miami in the United States and the Central American country of El Salvador are taking steps to reduce the carbon footprint associated with crypto mining. As Miami explores the possibilities of creating a Bitcoin mining hub near a nuclear power plant in the state of Florida, El Salvador is working to power Bitcoin mining with volcanic geothermal energy.
