The showdown was a cataclysmic beating clash between two of the sport’s biggest names, with Fury delivering a stunning end to the bout in the eleventh round.

While many expected a slugging match, the fighters entered the ring with vigor and controlled ferocity. Initially, things looked promising for the Bronze Bomber, with the hunter being able to establish an educated jab to set up powerful cascading hooks.

But Fury was quick to assert himself with a hammer blow to the right, sending Wilder back to old ways that would end up being his downfall. The two men were about to strike the canvas.

Deontay, sponsor of the Inflation Hedging Coin (IHC)

Deontay Wilder has become a weekend poster for the crypto world in partnership with Inflation Hedging Coin (IHC) known as the Rebel Coin. The IHC logo was displayed on the Wilders shorts.

IHC is a project created by a small team of Mongolian developers with the aim of creating an effective store-0f value against inflation.

As with most store of value concepts, the coin burns itself annually by its full market cap at the U.S. rate of inflation to store value and will continue to do so until its total market cap equals number of tokens the total number of token holders taken.

So far, IHC has become one of the best-selling altcoins in history, the first 100 billion coins bought in seconds.

This is due to the huge demand for effective inflation hedges as the global economic turmoil takes hold.

The story continues

Speaking on the Ider-Od Bat-Erdene partnership, one of the IHC co-founders explained why they chose to sponsor Deontay Wilder in their last heavyweight shot.

For us, Wilder exemplifies everything a champion has to be rebellious, resilient and disciplined, he explained.

We believe in the same principles. The launch of this cryptocurrency is something that we have trained our whole life for, something that we believe in and that we will fight for.

Everlast launches Wilder NFT

In a first for massive boxing brand Everlast, Fight Day saw the brand’s first NFT collection launch on blockparty.

41 NFTs were struck in honor of the 41 knockouts of Deontay Wilders’ impressive professional heavyweight career.

Everlast chose a vintage collector’s card style for the boxing glove cards featuring 156 frames for each animation.

Deontay Wilder was quick to inform his fans about the non-fungible tokens ahead of Fury’s fight.

This NFT seemed like another way to give them something to take away from the fight and keep as a member of Team Everlast, Deontay Wilder said.

I am delighted to see it come to life and to help my fans put themselves in their minds after a long wait. It’s going to be an unforgettable fight!
