Bitcoin on the rise as all other majors lose value BusinessCloud

The price of Bitcoin has risen nearly 1.5% in the past 24 hours, but the other top 10 cryptocurrencies have all fallen in value.

At the time of writing (7 a.m. in UK), market leader BTC had reached 57,200, up 16% over seven days.

XRP has lost 5% and is valued at $ 1.10 – but Ripple’s coin remains 5% higher than a week ago.

Solana (SOL) also fell 5% to $ 144, but is down 14% in one week.

Polkadot (DOT), Cardano (ADA) and Dogecoin (DOGE) all fell 4%. The first, a proof-of-stake blockchain platform that aims to securely connect blockchains as a kind of decentralized internet, is 6% higher than a week ago.

ADA fell to $ 2.12 and is down 4% from last Tuesday’s price, while the DOGE coin is at 23 cents and 6% in seven days.

Binance Coin (BNB) fell 2% to $ 408 and is down 5% in one week.

The Ethereum smart contract blockchain platform (ETH), the world’s second most valuable crypto, lost less than 1% to drop to just below $ 3,500, but rose 3% in seven days.

Faith in SHIBA INU (SHIB), the Ethereum-based coin for DOGE, continues. It has risen the most – 13% – among the top 100 plays in the past 24 hours, and is up 133% in seven days thanks to a tweet by Elon Musk early last week from his dog Shiba Inu. on a Tesla.

Arweave (AR) fell the most – 14% – to $ 54.93, which puts it up 3% in one week.

The aggregate market cap of the more than 12,600 coins has fallen to $ 2.29 trillion, a 1.3% decline in the past 24 hours.
