Macro Guru Raoul Pal Says There is a 70% Chance of Bitcoin and Ethereum Hitting That “Shoo-In” Price

Real Vision CEO and macro investor Raoul Pal predicts that the value of Bitcoin could more than triple from the current price, while Ethereum could almost quadruple.

Pal tells his 695,100 Twitter followers that there is a more than 70% chance that Bitcoin will hit $ 200,000 and Ethereum will hit $ 20,000.

“It is not a certainty. It is a probabilistic result. For me, $ 20,000 ETH and $ 200,000 BTC is a good move (70% + luck).

What surpasses and how it happens is to be guessed … “

Pal says that currently Bitcoin is replicating the price behavior he exhibited in 2013.

“BTC continues to follow 2013 very well.”

The founder of Real Vision also says there is a “decent chance” that the current Bitcoin bull cycle could run longer than the previous ones.

“I think there is a good chance (not a sure thing) that this BTC cycle will extend longer and more expensive …”

The macro guru adds that Ethereum could even hit $ 40,000 by the end of the first or second quarter of 2022 if it tracks the price behavior Bitcoin displayed during the 2017 bull run.

“And ETH… a bigger move… $ 40,000 by March / June would only be an overbought standard deviation from the trend.”

When asked if Ethereum could drop 90%, like what happened in 2018 after the bull run, Pal replied in the negative.

“No. It will go down a lot less, IMHO (IMHO).”

Bitcoin is trading at $ 63,600 at the time of writing, according to CoinGecko, while Ethereum is trading hands at $ 4,140.
