Real Opportunity For Bitcoin And Crypto Will Come From This Group Of Investors, Says Shark Tank Star Kevin O’Leary

Shark Tank investor Kevin O’Leary said a group of investors could transform Bitcoin (BTC) and the crypto markets when they decide to allocate capital to space.

In a new interview with Bitcoin bull Anthony Pompliano on The Best Business Show, the famous investor says there will be a huge opportunity for crypto once sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East invest in digital assets.

“The real opportunity does not lie in family offices or hedge funds that operate from the Middle East. The real money is in the real sovereign wealth funds in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. It’s billions and billions and billions of dollars.

They haven’t allocated crypto yet. When this happens, you will see it reflected in the price of Bitcoin. there is no doubt. They have a long-term view of these funds, and the funds are so important. “

O’Leary says given the size and number of funds, even a 1% allocation would impact the markets.

“They usually follow the discipline and principles of risk diversification, so they may have a mandate, for example, that no stock is more than 5% of the fund or no sector more than 20%. These are diversification mandates that are used all over the world, and they are doing it there as well.

But when it comes to a multibillion dollar mandate, and some of them, these are the biggest pools of capital in the world. A 1% allowance is a huge amount of money.

The investor says for the moment that Bitcoin is the only digital asset on the radar of sovereign wealth funds. He predicts that they could easily decide to allocate 1-3% just on BTC.

“I talk to these guys almost every day. They would immediately drop to 1% to 3% on Bitcoin alone. Just Bitcoin, not to mention Ethereum or any level 1 or 2 in the chain. They didn’t even think about it. They just think of Bitcoin and own it as an asset. The amount of capital that will enter this market when the regulator approves Bitcoin as an asset, a currency or a security, or whatever it is going to regulate like that is going to be amazing.
