Bitcoin prices continue to trade above $ 60,000 (roughly Rs. 45 01 050) for the 11th day in a row, although there hasn’t been much movement in the past 24 hours. The world’s most popular cryptocurrency opened for trade on Wednesday at Rs. 48 67,354 (around $ 64,882) but fell to Rs. 47 68,811 (around $ 63,666) at the time of publication. Investors appear to be consolidating around this level for now, although a breakout is imminent. Bitcoin hit $ 66,930 (approx Rs. 50,20,921) on October 20, an all-time high after the launch in the United States of a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) focused on futures contracts.
Bitcoin consolidation does not appear to be holding back Ether’s progress. Gadgets 360’s cryptocurrency price tracker reveals that the second most valuable cryptocurrency continues to experience a small but steady increase. Ether is trading at Rs. 3,332,593 (around $ 4,440) and is up 1.15% from the day’s opening valuation of Rs. 3,29,179 (around $ 4,394).
Elsewhere, Shiba Inu appears to be making great strides after a petition on Change.org collected more than 325,000 signatures asking Robinhood to register Shiba Inu. Rival Dogecoin has gained more than 15% valuation in the past 24 hours despite Elon Musk’s snub this weekend.
Continuing a positive mood throughout the week, Tether, Ripple and Polkadot all started the day with gains, while Cardano values fell further.
Despite the lack of immediate movement on the Bitcoin valuation front, enthusiasm around the crypto asset is palpable among key stakeholders. Jelena McWilliams, who chairs the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, revealed that U.S. banking regulators are trying to provide a roadmap for banks to enable their customers to engage with crypto assets.
This “roadmap” means transparent rules on the ownership of cryptocurrencies to facilitate trade with clients, use them as collateral for loans, or even keep them on their balance sheets as traditional assets.
Meanwhile, Twitter made an announcement earlier in the year where the social media giant revealed two crypto-focused features on its platforms – an NFT collections tab and the integration of Bitcoin Lightning for its functionality. “Tip Jar”.
