Cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com announced a global advertising campaign on Thursday featuring Hollywood actor Matt Damon. CEO Kris Marszalek tweeted:

Today we unveiled Fortune Favors the Brave.

The “Fortune Favors the Brave” commercial is directed by Oscar winner Wally Pfister and produced by David Fincher. It “highlights the company’s own philosophy, while inspiring those who want to change the course of history with a timeless phrase first uttered thousands of years ago,” the ad details.

The company said the ad featuring Matt Damon will air in more than 20 countries and will draw on “recent sponsorships including Formula 1, UFC, 76ers and more.”

Marszalek explained in a series of tweets that the announcement is “a tribute to those who have brought us this far” and is also “an invitation to those who will bring us further”. Crypto.com recently partnered with Water.org, the global nonprofit organization co-founded by Damon that provides clean water and sanitation services to people in need.
