Quantitative analyst PlanB updates its Bitcoin (BTC) price target for the first quarter of 2022 and reveals when it believes BTC will experience a hyperbolic rise where it outperforms all other assets.

In an interview with Bitcoin bull Anthony Pompliano, the widely followed crypto analyst said that based on his various models, it is possible that Bitcoin will rise to 700% by the start of next year.

“If we look at the on-chain signals right now, I would say the peak is at least a few months, say six months from here. So that would be the end of the first trimester. Then the third type of model I use is of course this ground model. $ 135,000 – it’s not based on stock to sell… It’s an exclusive thing based on other things – technical and chain.

I guess we’ll be above $ 100,000, over $ 135,000 by the end of the year, and then maybe continue to grow towards the stock-to-flow model target X (S2FX ) [at] $ 288,000 or even more. I wouldn’t even be surprised to see in the first quarter to the second quarter of next year prices of $ 300,000, $ 400,000 [or] $ 500,000. “

The stock-to-flow (S2F) model, which is traditionally used to track the performance of commodities like precious metals, compares an asset’s price to its available supply. Meanwhile, PlanB’s stock-flow cross-asset model (S2FX) examines Bitcoin’s phase transitions from a proof of concept to a financial asset to come up with a valuation for BTC.

In the long term, PlanB says it sees Bitcoin experiencing a hyperbolic surge.

“The money right now is with the elderly. Real estate and gold, the physical world and not the digital world. Digital scarcity is a next generation thing, so I think it will happen, but I also see in my own model that there is a linear relationship between scarcity and value… Scarcity, in my opinion, is the factor most importantly, getting people to invest more money in real estate now.

This will change once next to divisibility, fungibility, portability, also Bitcoin scarcity will be better than real estate …
