Rachel Warren: We have about five minutes left. We’ll go to our last funny question. I saw this story on the news earlier today and thought it would be fun and crazy to cover the last question on the show.

If you remember Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE), the cryptocurrency with the image of a dog that was originally created as a joke and has become somewhat of one of the most popular investments in 2021. A lot of Reddit marketers loved this one. Well, apparently there is a newcomer to the neighborhood, Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: SHIB).

Crypto has a market capitalization of just under $ 30 billion and is now among the 15 largest cryptos in the market. It recently hit a new all-time high. Shiba Inu jumped over 45% in just two days. You think of Dogecoin with its well known mascot of a dog and now there is Shiba Inu, with the image of a Shiba Inu dog.

If you had to create your own cryptocurrency, what would your brand’s mascot be? Brian, do you want to start with this one? [laughs]

Brian Withers: I love that question. I’m glad you didn’t ask if I was interested in investing in cryptocurrency. [laughs] That I am not.

Rachel Warren: No, I knew better than that. [laughs].

Brian Withers: But hey, I’ll find a mascot for my cryptocurrency. I try to avoid the animal thing, these dogs, I don’t know about that, but thinking of you, you want a global currency and accepted worldwide. What is known in the world?

Maybe a soccer ball. In other countries, it is called football. Or maybe quick and nimble, you could make a Formula 1 car. Try to make the global vibe of fast funds work. And you Trev?

Trevor Jennewine: I’m going to infringe on Tesla’s intellectual property (NASDAQ: TSLA) and say the Tesla coin. [laughs] I would be ready to share this idea with Tesla. But I think this company, from what I understand, their merchandise is flying off the rack. Elon Musk’s boring businesses turn to flamethrowers. Looks like they can sell anything and so I think I put the Tesla logo on a coin and I think it would be fine.

Rachel Warren: Wow, this is so much fun. I feel like you should introduce this to them, Trevor. [laughs] I was thinking about it and I mean, I hate not being original and going with an animal. But I think if I had to make my own personal crypto mascot it would be a bunny because I never had dogs or cats growing up.

I’ve always had rabbits. I feel like I don’t know, maybe a tribute to one of my little bunnies that I had as a kid would be a very adorable crypto, but honestly I don’t know that someone would buy it. [laughs] But I think it looks fabulous.

Brian Withers: It’s hot and blurry. You must like it. [laughs]

Rachel Warren: It’s hot and fuzzy. These are good times. But yeah, crypto, Dogecoin, I don’t know how good an investment it is, but it’s so fun to talk about.
