Staples Center will be renamed Crypto.com Arena from December 25

Staples Center, which has been home to the Lakers and Clippers since 1999, will be renamed Crypto.com Arena.

After 22 years, Staples Center changes its name. From December 25, the world-famous sports venue will be renamed Crypto.com Arena.

Arguably one of the most iconic venues in sports, the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles has been home to the Lakers and Clippers since 1999.

The deal is the largest site naming rights deal in the United States to date, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
