BABY Bitcoin has recently climbed in value – and is currently up over 800% in the last 24 hours.
We explain what you need to know about cryptocurrency and why the price suddenly skyrockets.

Baby Bitcoin’s value has exploded in the past 24 hours
Before you do so, keep in mind that investing is never a guaranteed way to make money, so you can actually lose all the money you have invested.
That’s why it’s important not to invest more than what you can afford to lose, or in something that you don’t understand.
Cryptocurrencies are particularly volatile, so their values can fluctuate significantly without notice.
There is also little regulation for crypto companies, so you won’t have any protection if and when things go wrong.
What is the Bitcoin baby?
Baby Bitcoin (BBTC) is a cryptocurrency token, launched last year.
According to its website, it aims to become “the most important and profitable meme token” by offering benefits to project leaders.
This is ensured by a transaction tax system, which charges 5% on each token sale.
Of this amount, 3% goes to liquidity and the remaining 2% is distributed to investors.
The project claims its goal is to reduce child poverty with the help of different global organizations, although details are scarce.
What is cryptocurrency?
CRYPTO-CURRENCIES are a form of payment that can be exchanged for goods and services.
Keegan Francis, crypto editor and expert on comparison site Finder, told The Sun that there are “two things that are red flags” when looking at Baby Bitcoin.
He said, “The first one is the ‘BBTC’ ticker. It is awfully close to BTCB, which is the ticker for a Bitcoin token indexed on Binance Smart Chain.
“If investors are not careful, they could accidentally buy Baby Bitcoin, when they expect to receive Bitcoin (BTCB).”
The second red flag is the number of existing currency units – a quadrillion.
Mr Francis said it was similar to other coins like Shiba Inu or Safemoon which created a large number of units to take advantage of people with “unity bias”.
It is an investor’s perception that he can have “more of something” because the units cost less, he added.
Why is the price of Baby Bitcoin increasing?
The value of Baby Bitcoin is currently $ 0.00000002, according to Coinbase.
Its value has climbed 826% in the last 24 hours, 1,762% in the last month and 73.38% since its launch in July of last year.
This is likely an effect of the rising price of Bitcoin, which climbed 1% to $ 64,980 in the past 24 hours and hit a new all-time high earlier this week.
Additionally, Bitcoin has jumped 51% over the past month.
This week’s big gains can be attributed to a Bitcoin futures exchange-traded fund making its highly anticipated debut.
Now, instead of buying Bitcoin directly, you can invest in futures.
Ahead of the ETF’s launch, Gary Gensler, chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, launched a rally reiterating his support for Bitcoin.
Mr. Francis added: “It seems to me that [Baby Bitcoin] tries to build on the success of Bitcoin, convincing investors that it is too late to buy Bitcoin.
“Nothing could be further from the truth.”
Bitcoin Baby Price Predictions 2021

Just be aware that they are far from guaranteed and may in fact go down as much as they have increased recently.
