Bitcoin Black Friday will take place on November 26 this year and crypto payment company Bitpay has announced a slew of merchants who will be offering deals to buyers paying with digital assets.
Bitpay merchants with Black Friday deals
Bitpay, the world’s largest cryptocurrency payments provider, has revealed that a number of merchants the company partners with will offer deals to Black Friday shoppers who prefer to pay in crypto. Bitcoin Black Friday has been celebrated for years, and bitcoiners have always been looking for specials every year. Bitpay has revealed a large number of merchants with special offers, but some of the promotions will be unveiled during Thanksgiving week through Friday.
Bitpay merchants participating in Black Friday this year include Ace Jewelers (20% selected items), precious metals bullion dealer Apmex will give customers the cash price when they pay in crypto. When a customer purchases a € 500 e-fast gift card from Fast Private Jet, the company will upgrade it to € 1,000. Stephen Pair, CEO of Bitpay, explained that the company is seeing many customers turning to the use of crypto payments.
“We see so many consumers wanting to live their lives on crypto and this holiday season has again provided us with a great opportunity to support consumers who want to make purchases and merchants who accept crypto payments,” Pair explained during the announcement of Black Friday traders. “As the price of bitcoin continues to climb with bitcoin cash, ethereum, litecoin and doge, crypto enthusiasts are looking for a way to cash in and spend their winnings on holiday gifts and Bitpay merchants want to attract new buyers this holiday shopping season, ”added Pair.
Offers from Newegg, Sonic Electronix, Pacsun, Wrist Aficionado
Additionally, Bitpay announced that Hostkey will offer a 10% discount on specific dedicated server plans, Jomashop.com will withdraw $ 70 for every $ 1,000 purchase with Bitpay. Popular e-commerce store Newegg will be offering 20% off select orders over $ 500, and youth clothing store Pacsun will have specials this Friday for Bitpay customers as well. Bitpay consumers who purchase from Sonic Electronix will be entered to win a car audio pack upgrade and a $ 100 Sonic Electronix gift card. Additionally, Wrist Aficionado offers customers who spend $ 10,000, $ 300 site-wide for all products.
In addition to Bitpay merchants, the bitcoinblackfriday.com web portal will also have special offers and promotions for Black Friday shoppers who want to spend bitcoin. At the time of writing this article, bitcoinblackfriday.com offers are currently not available and there is a message saying “coming soon”. Bitpay itself is also offering a special deal for the company’s crypto card to US residents only, as it will be giving the card away for free on Black Friday.
