Zug, Switzerland. December 2, 2021

Dock integrated with the fiat Transak access and exit platform to enable the purchase of the native DOCK token via bank transfers and card payments.

Transak, a platform for integrating global users from fiat to crypto and vice versa using local payment methods, is now available for non-crypto buyers looking to enter the Dock ecosystem. Previously, DOCK was only available to buyers of cryptocurrencies. Now, thanks to Dock’s integration with Transak, non-crypto buyers can buy DOCK. Present in more than 60 countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, Europe and India. Local payment methods as well as bank transfers and card payments can be used to purchase DOCK.

How it works

With just a few simple steps, anyone can own DOCK and participate in governance, staking, and transactions on the Dock Network.

To purchase DOCK tokens, go to the Dock website and click on the Transak widget.

After clicking and registering with Transak, buy DOCK by:

Enter the amount in local currency that will be purchased Choose a preferred payment method of bank transfer or card payment Click on “Buy now” Fill in Know Your Customer (KYC)

KYC is an automated process to ensure compliance for both parties that includes necessary details such as name, cell phone number and date of birth. With this information, Transak will tailor an individual’s experience for easy fiat payment on their next purchase.

Dock CEO Nick Lambert commented on the collaboration, “We are really excited to be working with Transak to open DOCK to a wider audience, allowing non-crypto users to enter our ecosystem.

Alessandro Raboni, Head of Growth at Transak, said: “At Transak, we believe in the Polkadot ecosystem early on and we are delighted to see it grow with solutions and applications as powerful as Dock. Dock solves a very important problem by addressing the inefficiencies of current data solutions, taking advantage of blockchain technology. We share with Dock the vision of decentralization, as well as our developer-centric approach, a perfect fit. “

No charge for a limited time only

To celebrate this collaboration, Dock will contribute $ 10,000 towards user transaction costs. On a first-come, first-served basis, first-time users will be able to enjoy the convenience of Transak without paying the fees. Once this budget is exhausted, the full transaction fees apply.
