Listen to this episode:

In this episode of Bitcoin Magazine’s “Fed Watch” podcast, Christian Keroles and I caught up with Tom Luongo of Gold Goats’ N Guns to talk about Europe and central bank politics. We’ve gone into the weeds, talked about what’s going on behind closed doors so to speak, in a discussion you won’t find on any other show. Luongo’s theories revolve around his idea of predominantly European / Western elites which he sums up as “the Davos man”. It was a high-profile discussion that I describe below.

You can find all of Luongo’s content on his website. I recommend going back to episodes 75-77 for a summary of Davos Man and his geopolitical setting. Luongo is a long-time advocate of bitcoin, so of course we discussed what bitcoin means geopolitically in this time of great change.

Who or what is the Davos man?

I read an article by Luongo that was syndicated to Zero Hedge several months ago. In this post, he called the European elites “the Davos man”. I was struck by this framing, because it perfectly summarized the elites of the world order declining in my general geopolitical framework. Luongo described them as “all the people who think they are running the world”.

Their calling cards are globalization, international institutions (like NATO, EU and UN), climate change and a global tax system. He summed it up as “communists,” and I would add to that that they are world communists.

Davos’ goal is to reverse World War II, where European economies were destroyed and capital fled to the United States. This time, they want to cause global chaos outside of Europe and make the EU the center of capital flight for decades to come.

Powell and Davos

Luongo presented the current struggle as a battle between the Davos man and Wall Street. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is not Janet Yellen; he is loyal to American monetary interests in a way that contradicts Davos’ entire judicial press against the world.

Luongo filled in our blanks on why Powell is different. For the past year, Keroles and I on “Fed Watch” have said that Powell is a “straight shooter.” We felt he was different from the typical central banking elite. Now I see that this central banking elite is part of the Davos World Order.

Powell has armed central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and provided monetary facilities that have maintained the dominance of the US dollar in the global financial system. Luongo explained why his appointment is so important, because it’s like drawing a red line – the United States will no longer play Davos’ game. Cinderella’s favorite Lael Brainard was not elected Fed president because her appointment by the US Senate was questionable, and because of her deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party through her husband. area.

Geopolitics world tour

In the second half of the show, our conversation focused on weeds at specific hot spots around the world. We agreed that Europe is in great difficulty. But where I’m concerned about Russia’s natural geopolitical push to strategic depth and its dwindling demographic time bomb, Luongo wasn’t so worried because Russia didn’t want to be dragged into a war.

To give you an idea of the ground we covered quickly at the end of the podcast, we brought Afghanistan and why it was such a pivotal event, MacKinder and Brzezinski’s heart theory and the return of the United States to the non-interventionism.
