Bitcoin and Ether lose value as majority crypto prices fall ahead of weekend

[ad_1]

Closing this week in December, the crypto market experienced an overall slowdown. Bitcoin’s value fell by one percent and took the value of token exchanges to $ 52,118 (around Rs. 39 lakh), according to Indian exchange CoinSwitch Kuber. On international exchanges, including Binance and CoinMarketCap, the world’s oldest cryptocurrency trades at around $ 48,348 (around Rs. 36.6 lakh) per token. After Bitcoin, the second most valued cryptocurrency in the world by capitalization, Ether and other coins also recorded losses.

With a drop in value of 3.41%, Ether opened for trading at $ 4,479 (around Rs 3.3 lakh) on Friday December 10th. With marginal fluctuations in values throughout the week, Ether prices have remained above $ 4,300 (around Rs.3.2 lakh).

According to crypto price tracker Gadgets 360, Cardano, Polkadot, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and Polygon also fell in terms of trade values. While the price changes for these altcoins were minimal, they certainly helped turn the crypto chart red.

Battling an otherwise difficult day, Tether, USD Coin and Ripple became winners ahead of the weekend.

“We’ve seen a bit of profit reservation across the cryptocurrency spectrum. With trading volumes falling ahead of the weekend, the next 24 hours would likely remain within the range. The key levels to watch would be $ 46,000 (around Rs. 35 lakh) in Bitcoin and $ 4,000 (around Rs. 3 lakh) in Ethereum, ”said Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of the crypto investment firm. Mudrex at Gadgets 360.

The cryptocurrency space is currently riddled with mixed feelings from different parts of the world.

As trade in Bitcoin and other altcoins hits Colombian banks, Thailand’s financial regulator has advised banks to refrain from direct engagement with the crypto market.

India continues to push the announcement of its cryptocurrency position during this time. According to Duvvuri Subbarao, the former governor of the Reserve Bank of India, the legalization of cryptocurrencies could deprive the central bank of its control over the money supply as well as over the management of inflation.

The crypto bill drafted by India’s finance ministry is still awaiting cabinet approval before it goes to parliament.
