Pop star Heartthrob and genderqueer clothing horse Harry Styles took to the internet last year after being pictured wearing a patchwork cardigan during a rehearsal for a performance on The Tonight Show. Designed by British fashion label JW Anderson, the knitted garment sparked huge internet success after a TikTok user recreated it, inspiring thousands of others to do the same.

The buzz around the cardigan, which is now on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, was so strong that JW Anderson later released a model and tutorial on how to build it. And now, a lucky bidder may own a digital render of the cardigan, which is offered for auction as an NFT.

The NFT Patchwork Cardigan Colourbook was “meticulously crafted for 300 hours … each piece of yarn being 3D rendered before being woven together,” according to a press release.

Organized with the NFT fashion platform xydrobe, the proceeds from the sale will be donated to AKT, a Manchester-based charity that supports LGBTQ + youth facing homelessness in the UK. The auction closes at 2:00 p.m. EST and, at the time of posting, the current auction is 2ETH (£ 2,831).

Since 2013, JW Anderson founder Jonathan Anderson has been the creative director of Spanish fashion house Loewe, whose foundation sponsors the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize, worth € 50,000.
