Lamar Wilson, founder of Black Bitcoin Billionaire, discusses no censorship

Lamar Wilson and CJ Wilson sit down to discuss Bitcoin, onboarding new users, and the lack of censorship.

Lamar Wilson, freedom maximalist, OG Bitcoiner and founder of Black Bitcoin Billionaires (the biggest Bitcoin-based club on Clubhouse) joined CJ Wilson in this week’s episode of “Bitcoin Bottom Line”.

The two sat side by side in Austin, TX, taking a break from writing a book together (with others) that focuses on how to change the Bitcoin narrative on Capitol Hill.

Lamar started the episode off with a bang, mentioning that when it comes to Bitcoin, “It’s not about price to me, it’s about freedom and sovereignty.”

When asked how Bitcoin changed his life, Lamar explained how bitcoin is the most free money we can have. He went on to explain that: “This is money that nobody can censor, nobody can tell you what to do with it, you can keep it yourself without having to interact with someone else. can send it … All kinds of things that you can’t do with the current financial system.

He then went on to explain how he liked to introduce Bitcoin to people by giving them bitcoin, and there’s even a video of him giving him an entire bitcoin, “because it was about trying to get people in there.”

CJ explained that for beginners it is helpful to “show them how tangible it is.”

“Bitcoin is like the real world. This is objective truth, ”CJ said.

Lamar has spoken of reaching out to the black community with Bitcoin. He realized that there was no intention to share any information about Bitcoin with the community, and he was going to change that. He started with friends, family, and people at school. One of his classmates became Coinbase’s 28th employee after hearing about Bitcoin through Lamar.

He discussed the Clubhouse and how to keep information at a very high level for those who are just starting out.

“Jesus used parables to convey high levels of thought, I use analogies,” Lamar said.

“Bitcoin is the strongest – just play this hand. Keep playing your aces, ”CJ explained, discussing the irony of creators of other coins wanting to sell their altcoins in exchange for bitcoin.

Lamar follows this with another analogy for Bitcoin: “There are all these women you can hunt, but this is where it ends. Every man wants to have his car or die. Once they have their wife, they know that is their base.

The Wilson’s continued the conversation around the book they’re writing, how Clubhouse has brought them together, and how this year has brought many people together in the Bitcoin space.

They ended the episode with more analogies, expressing their enthusiasm for the direction space is taking.
