Crypto payment service provider BitPay announced a new promotion for buying crypto without any card fees through the BitPay Wallet app, the company announced on Monday (December 20th).

As part of this collaboration with Simplex, a fiduciary infrastructure for digital assets, BitPay Wallet users can purchase cryptos with a debit or credit card, Apple Pay, or the BitPay debit card for a limited time.

Promotion is open to US residents. Using the BitPay Wallet app, users can send, receive and encrypt, check the price of crypto, store funds, and purchase gift cards using various crypto.

“For U.S. consumers who are looking to buy bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies for the first time, this new campaign is a quick, safe and secure way to get started,” Stephen Pair, CEO of BitPay, said in the statement. “BitPay wants to accelerate the adoption of crypto and allow more consumers to live with crypto.

“By working with Simplex, we’ve made shopping easier by using a familiar app experience and eliminating the need for users to navigate to a cryptocurrency exchange to fund the wallet. “

Simplex offers a number of encrypted payment options and fraud-free protections. According to Nimrod Lehavi, founder and CEO of Simplex, the company’s modus operandi is to make the crypto space more accessible to new users.

BitPay also recently partnered with Nexon America, an interactive gaming software company, which will allow people to purchase in-game items with cryptocurrencies as well as dollars.
